Salomon Brothers Emerging Markets Income Fund II, Inc. operates as a nondiversified and closed-end management investment company. The fund invests in debt securities of government and government related issuers located in emerging market countries, including participations in loans between governments and financial institutions, and of entities organized to restructure the outstanding debt of such issuers, as well as in debt securities of corporate issuers located in emerging market countries. Salomon Brothers Asset Management, Inc. serves as investment manager of the fund. The company is based in New York City.
